Ready-made companies, also referred to as ‘Off the Shelf’ companies, are standard limited companies that we incorporate, maintain as dormant and make available for sale to clients.
We also age some of our ready-made companies by not releasing them for sale until after a certain period of time. We age companies for up to five years, but occasionally have older companies available.

Before Companies House developed electronic incorporation, a standard incorporation could take over a week to process. Maintaining a stock of Off the Shelf companies meant that we could provide a company immediately when a client had urgent need of one.
Although company formation times have reduced significantly, we still face a high demand for ready-made companies.
You may consider purchasing on Off the Shelf company if you need a company urgently and do not have time to wait for Companies House to process an application, or do not want to risk Companies House rejecting an application causing you to miss a deadline. (If you have already missed your deadline then an aged company can be used to provide an historic incorporation date.)
We charge £104 + vat for any ready-made company under one year old. The Fees for older companies increase with age:
